Entrepreneurship is something that fascinates many youngsters of this great nation but only a few elevate their dreams to a significant height culminating in a real venture.
Mr. B.V. Ramanan was one among those very few, who nurtured his dream of entrepreneurship from his early days.
He graduated in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Regional Engineering College, Trichy (now NIT, Trichy), Tamil Nadu and completed his Post-Graduation from the University of Calgary, Canada.
In the initial years of his return to India, he had the opportunity to associate himself with Chemfab Group which further fine-tuned his quest for entrepreneurship.
The 1980’s were days when entrepreneurs faced difficult times and received scant encouragement. However, this first-generation entrepreneur wanted to plan a project worth about Rs.1.92 Crores of investment.
The factory was commissioned in January 1989 with an ISBM machine from M/s. Nissei ASB Machine Co. Ltd., Japan. The location was a simple suburb surrounded by modest villages between Trichy and Pudukkottai Districts of Tamilnadu, South India.
Today, the Company encompasses 40 ISBM & 10 IMM production lines. Its products have carved a niche in the PET and PP bottles and containers market. A 500-member strong team further solidifies and elevates this ambition.
With a compact Board of Directors and a highly dedicated 12-member Executive Committee, supported by a 500-member strong team of engineers, staff and workers, the Company continues its journey towards greater heights.
